Yousician: Guitar Lessons App Reviews

You can learn how to play the instruments provided. It is fun and easy to use, generally. There is the occasional moment where Yousician or your devices mic fail to pick up your playing properly, and Yousician says you missed/misplayed a note. It seems to happen very often with faster songs with eighth notes, sixteenths, etc. That may cause you to replay the song to get them 3 star ratings (which uses up your free lesson time, yeah, Im a pleb). Otherwise, it is a pretty great tool for anyone that wants to learn, or just hone their skills.

Yousician is a fun powerful app. Why powerful! It makes learning an instrument not only easy, but also empowering enough to motivate you to keep on trucking on! It helped me with guitar and now Im learning ukulele!

Im just beginning to learn how to play the guitar. This app is really helpful and very interactive. It shows you your progress and you feel challenged to put in work to do better. I love it!

Im new to the piano game, but I cant think of how this app could be any better. Im 31 and enjoy it, and Im excited because my kids like using it too.

Easy to read and follow along

I didnt want to invest money on more music lessons. This was free and very helpful. I recommend downloading this because it taught me how to tune,strum,and how to play my favorite songs!

I decided to buy a guitar and learn how to play at age 42. This app is exactly what I needed to get started. Love it!

This app is honestly a great way to learn how to play guitar! The only problems that Ive run into have been with the app recognizing some chords which is quite annoying. And the constant premium upgrade message pops up WAY to frequently. Otherwise this is is a keeper and is a definite try!

Great way to learn the ukulele

I dont know if its just my phone or the app but it goes at about 10 frames per second and it pisses me off.

I can only speak to the guitar portion of the app, but hands down the best app I have ever downloaded for any device. Im on week two of learning guitar and thanks to this app my fingers are moving faster than the speed of sound. Seriously though, thank you Yousician, for giving me the realistic opportunity to learn a new instrument and to truly enjoy myself while I learn. So rewarding. Five stars!

I wrote a long review only to have it erased because my nickname was already taken, so here it is; yes it good, try before you buy. Your serious, then buy, if not dont.

The short lessons make learning manageable and you really get to play along as you go. Gives me confidence and makes me more eager to practice and get better. Glad I found this for my Uke!
